I have decided to change the theme of my portfolio completely as the one that I was creating was very informal. I have decided to make a more formal one. The theme I have gone for on my new design is black and white with a minor splash of bright red. I have decided to call myself Duggan's Design's. So far on my portfolio I have placed everything in place and added a photo stream from Flickr to my work, I also have a rollover image on my header. I need to link everything up, my Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, and Flickr pages, I also need to link my header to a page that will tell you what my website is about and about me, I also need to design my own logo. Here it is so far.

Design Crowd

In design crowd I created a logo for a company, the company wanted a logo that was for a clothing store for maternity and baby clothing, the company didn't give a name for the logo so i came up with the name Baby and Bump and came up with this logo.

I have also been working on another project on Design Crowd, the project is a logo for Pets4Homes as they wanted a new one creating as they didn't like their old one, this is the logo that i created.

20th February
Today I made a Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr account that are going to link up to my one page website of my portfolio that i am creating. I also linked Flickr up with my blog, and added some pictures and videos of my work on each of the accounts that I have created.

21st February
Today I started designing my portfolio website in photoshop, when I had an idea of what my website was going to look like I decided to start making part of it in dreamweaver. So far in dreamweaver I have put my background in, I have decided to go for a rainbow theme for my portfolio website, so I have a rainbow type background. Also in dreamweaver I have added my header in, and I have also added my four pages in, my Facebook, twitter, flickr, and blogger pages, I just need to link them up into pop up windows, and I also need to add text and pictures into my dreamweaver design. This is what it looks like so far...

Desktop Recording

Today I did a desktop recording of me starting to create a logo called Pets4Homes that I discovered on design crowd. To start creating the logo I went on to Photoshop and started to design it on that programme as I think its the best when creating logos, and any other type of designs. I went on the website DaFont.com to get my font as the ordinary fonts that were originally there were quite bland. I have decided to turn the "H" out of the word Homes into a house, and the "P" out of Pets into a cat. I am not yet finished the logo and am going to be altering the colours of the logo and making a few changes to the design.
